"The resistance to Hitler is growing daily!" So said a witty German recently, honoring American historian Daniel Goldhagen's "Hitler's Willing Executioners." He honored equally Mr. Goldhagen's triumphal tour of Germany, during which mobs of young Germans treated Mr. Goldhagen rather like Michael Jackson, a phenomenon which apparently had to be seen to be believed.
Now Hitler, as you might have heard, has been dead and gone for a good half century now. The money of dead Jews is safely under guard in Switzerland. And masterpieces of Western art once owned by wealthy Jews are now hanging in the Louvre and other great French museums. Hitler himself must ...
