They say twins have similar experiences - sometimes speaking at the same time or feeling each other's pain. Morgan and Marvin Smith shared a vision - to record the lives of black Americans through photography and film.
The documentary "M & M Smith: For Posterity's Sake," presented by the Independent Television Service and airing Thursday on WETA's Channel 26, chronicles the lives of the Smiths. The two black artists recorded Harlem's Golden Age and the lifestyle of black Americans in the 1940s, '50s, and '60s through photographs, paintings and film.
