If Northern Virginia is ever going to be a real place - not some surreal suburban wasteland where commuters snarl at each other on their way to other places - then Loudoun County's Board of Supervisors had better get its act together and pick a major-league baseball stadium site. Fast.
Loudoun County's supervisors need to sit down, study the facts a second time around and vote to submit a site to the Virginia Baseball Stadium Authority by the middle of June. It is, frankly, the only logical, prudent thing to do. There is no pain in the decision, only gain.
