Although Legg Mason Tennis Classic favorite Michael Chang won his match on Centre Court last night at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Rock Creek Park, tournament qualifier Neville Godwin continued to steal Chang's thunder.
The 21-year-old from South Africa, who advanced to the quarterfinals with a 2-6, 7-6, 6-4 victory over Hicham Arazi, has played just about everywhere trying to break into the ATP rankings. He has finally arrived, it seems, after getting to the fourth round of Wimbledon and gaining the quarterfinals here.
