I read Benjamin Tyree's recent article about Konrad Adenauer with slight amusement, fully realizing that he cannot understand the harm this man has done to Germany; its people, its culture and its very soul.
Mr. Tyree praises Adenauer for being at Germany's helm when the Wirtschaftswunder took place, and when a totally devastated country was rebuilt from the ashes within an amazingly short time. Actually, the credit for this truly incredible accomplishment must go to the German generations which at that time were still imbued with the Volksgemeinschaft, and other ideals introduced by Adolf Hitler and his system.
