Rep. Bill Richardson, the New Mexico Democrat who has made a career of rescuing Americans from the clutches of Third World autocrats and leaders of rogue states, has done it again.
North Korea released Evan C. Hunziker, 26, of Takoma, Wash., yesterday. Mr. Richardson, who represents a northern New Mexico district that includes Los Alamos, Taos and Santa Fe, has made such rescues a staple since he won liberty for American helicopter pilot Bobby Hall, who was shot down over North Korea in 1994.
Other efforts included freeing an American woman jailed on her oin-smuggling charges in Bangladesh and two Americans who strayed into Saddam Hussein's Iraq ...
