Marty Peretz, publisher of the New Republic, who is down from Cambridge, threw a class-act party at the Phillips Collection Wednesday evening to introduce his new editor-in-chief, Michael Kelly.
A wide swatch of Washington power players crowded into the second-floor galleries, eager to greet the new young editor-in-chief of one of the country's oldest political weeklies.
