HOQUIAM, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 26, 1999--

Clarence Hamre, President/CEO of Timberland Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:TSBK) the holding company for Timberland Savings Bank announced the opening of a new full service branch office in Poulsbo, Wash.

This makes the 10th office for the Grays Harbor based financial institution. The Viking Ave. branch replaces a loan production office, which Timberland opened in 1995. Timberland Savings Bank purchased the former Seafirst building in the Viking Junction business district.
