CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 28, 1999--
Copernicus Interactive, the nation's leading K-12 Internet gateway and USA TODAY Education announced today their joint sponsorship of the "News of the Century" contest in which U.S. students, grades 4-12, will report on the greatest events of the 20th century.
The competition, which formally launches on November 3, invites U.S. students to report and write a century-ending newspaper covering the greatest events of the last 100 years. Deadline for entries is March 31, 2000.
