NEW ORLEANS -- Concurrent treatment with aspirin and an ACE inhibitor may be dangerous.
Findings from two independent analyses reported at the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology suggested that these two drugs may interact in ways that harm various types of cardiovascular disease patients. But experts quickly cautioned that these results are not definitive and only raised an issue that needs further study.
