After World War II, Jews around the world adopted the motto "never again" to demonstrate their resolve to stand against the kind of atrocities committed against them by the Nazis.
Ironically, one of the voices now calling for global gun control comes from the Jewish community. Here's what the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, an Israeli news service, had to say about recent shootings in America:
"(The shootings) underscore the vital importance of enacting vigorous gun control measures to keep arms out of the hands of individuals who threaten the safety of our children and all members of society."
