BLOOMINGTON, Ill., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- State Farm Insurance Companies countered all allegations raised at a media event today, calling the event "a sad distraction caused by a few dozen people -- most of them disgruntled former agents with a litigation-inspired motive."

"These accusations are unfounded, and I find them personally insulting," said Harold Gray, State Farm's regional vice president for the area that includes Washington, D.C.
