This is an impressive study of one aspect of Calvin's theology: the relation of Christ to creation or, more technically, the evangelical and the sapiential aspects of Calvin's theology. "Sapiential" refers to the original purpose of creation and the knowledge of God the Creator, but also to the medieval tradition and the humanistic influences which Calvin inherited and utilized. "Evangelical" refers to the Christological nature of Calvin's theology.
