Supply chain management and Outsourcing are two topics that are getting lots of ink as of late. These hot manufacturing topics are also becoming buzz words at association meetings. For example, the American Furniture Manufacturers Assn., recognizing the importance of Supply Chain Management, recently formed a new division: Purchasing and Materials Management.
