KANSAS CITY -- Nomar Garciaparra reported no improvement and no timetable for his return to the Red Sox lineup yesterday, the day after he strained his left hamstring.
"It hurts quite a bit," said the club's star shortstop after receiving treatment.
"I'm probably not going to do much (yesterday). It's going to be one of those things, we'll go day by day. Hopefully it won't be too long."
There are three games on artificial turf in Tampa scheduled for the next three days and two days off next week.
