William F. Coyne of Charlestown, a lobbyist and veteran of World War II, died Wednesday at New England Medical Center following a brief illness. He was 77.
Born in South Boston, Mr. Coyne recently lived in Scituate and Charlestown.
He attended Boston University and Boston University Law School, and was admitted to the Massachusetts and federal bars in 1951.
Mr. Coyne served with the Navy and Army Air Forces during World War II.
He worked as a Boston police officer before opening a general legal practice. Mr. Coyne also ...
