Buying the wrong size bra is a little-known fashion faux pas that experts say eight out of 10 women routinely commit.
Count Mia, 27, of Weymouth, among the misfits.
"I don't think I've ever found a bra that fits me right," she said.
Too embarrassed to give her last name, Mia said her problem began when she got her first bras as a teenager.
"You never have a fitting. You just sort of guess," she said. "And that's what you're stuck with the rest of your life."
Or at least until next week, when bra-fit specialists at area JC Penney stores help correct the problem.
