New Hampshire center Jason Krog will enjoy watching two teams fight over the privilege of skating with the Wildcats.
Despite a 5-4 overtime loss to Boston College in the Hockey East championship game Saturday night at the FleetCenter, New Hampshire was awarded the No.1 seed for this weekend's NCAA East Regional at the Worcester Centrum.
New Hampshire - which won the Hockey East regular-season title and amassed a record of 29-6-3 - was awarded a first-round bye along with No.2 seed Clarkson (25-10-1). They were followed by Maine (27-6-4), Denver (26-12-2), defending champion Michigan (24-10-6) and Ohio State (21-15-4).
