If you're going to step out front after a career as a support player, you might as well do it with flair. That's exactly the way Latin trombonist Jimmy Bosch figures it and he has a cooker of a new CD, "Soneando Trombon" ("Singing Trombone") (RykoLatino), to drive home the point.
A sizzling support player if there ever was one, Bosch likes to share the spotlight even when he's the main man, so his album features stars such as Cuban trumpet legend Chocolate Armenteros and singer Pete Rodriguez.
