Edward L. "Ted" Quinn of Wakefield, a retired military officer, died Tuesday at the Soldier's Home in Chelsea. He was 83.
Born in Brookline, he attended local schools and graduated from Brookline High School in 1933 and from Bentley College in 1969.
He was a chief warrant officer of the Army until he retired in 1960. He was also retired from the Massachusetts National Guard.
Mr. Quinn was an active member of St. Joseph's Parish in Wakefield and past president of St. Joseph Holy Name Society. He was a member of the Revere V.F.W. Post, Knights of Columbus Wakefield Council 104, West Side Social Club and Wenham Golf Club. He was past president of ...
