Albert Andreason of Woburn, a plumber, died Tuesday at Vencor North Shore Hospital in Peabody after a lengthy illness. He was 78.
Born in Winchester, he was educated in Woburn schools and graduated from Woburn High School in 1938.
During World War II, he served in the Army Air Forces. Based in England, he flew a B-17 aircraft on several missions over Germany. After his discharge in 1945, he went to work for J.J. Black and Sons, Inc., as a plumber. He worked there until he retired at the age of 65.
