Pasta and only pasta. That's the focus of Mary Ann Esposito's ninth season of "Ciao Italia," her popular PBS series on Italian cooking and its companion cookbook, "Mangia Pasta."
"This time around, I decided to concentrate entirely on pasta, because of where pasta is in terms of people's minds today - everyone loves pasta," says Esposito during a recent publicity trip to Boston. "I could walk around the streets of Boston or anywhere and ask people how many times a week they have pasta, and I'll bet two out of three will tell me that they have pasta at least a couple times a week."
