LAKE RIDGE, Va., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- United Phosphorus Ltd. (UPL) has filed a lawsuit in U.S. federal court seeking at least $56 million from BASF Corporation and its subsidiary, Micro-Flo, over their alleged importation of millions of pounds of unregistered pesticides for distribution, sale and use in the United States.
UPL is one of the largest generic agrochemical companies in the world, with headquarters in India and twenty-five offices that span the globe. United Phosphorus Inc. (UPI), its United States subsidiary, is located near Philadelphia in Exton, Pennsylvania.
