PALM DESERT, Calif.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Nov. 4, 1999--
For the past two seasons at the McCallum Theatre, the Moscow Classical Ballet has performed to capacity audiences with their presentation of the holiday tradition, "The Nutcracker."
One reason for this success may be, as the New York Times has noted, "by contrast to the Kirov and Bolshoi (ballet companies), the Moscow Classical Ballet's corps in young, long-legged, clean -- a classical ensemble with a lighter, more dynamic touch."
