TWO YEARS AFTER BUYING a golf course and adjacent land in east Pulaski County, investors believe the payoff is nearing as houses are starting to spring up in the development.
Although early plans for a castle-style clubhouse at the state's only Scottish-style links course have been delayed, the managing partner for the StoneLinks golf course and development says the project is moving at about the pace the investors expected. David Sparks points to 30 lots that have been sold in the 194-lot first phase of the StoneLinks development at state Highway 391 and Faulkner Lake Road.
"We knew Phase I was a big undertaking," Sparks says. "It takes time."
