Nov. 3 -- WAREHOUSE MARKET'S SLOWING, BUT REMAINS ROBUST: Charlotte warehouse growth is showing signs of slowing, but not enough to cause serious concerns among developers or real estate analysts.
"The vacancy rate is up slightly to 11.4percent in October from 10.8 percent in July," said Frank Warren of Karnes Research Co., which tracks local development. "The market is slowing a bit. It's definitely slower than it was a year ago."
A vacancy rate in the 10 percent range generally isn't viewed as negative -- especially among new business recruiters -- because it means space is available for expansion and ...
