Article: Monarch Color Continues to Move Forward.

In the mid-1970s, Jack West, then a nearly 30-year veteran in the printing ink field, had a vision. He set out to build a new ink company specializing in sheetfed offset inks. In 1977, that vision became a reality, and Monarch Color Corporation opened its doors for business in Charlotte, NC.

Now, more than 20 years later, Monarch Color is thriving. The company has grown from its first plant in Charlotte to six manufacturing facilities. The additional plants are located in Pennsauken, NJ, Memphis, TN, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA, and Greensboro, NC.
