MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Bob Kommerstad, founder and chair of Provident Investment Counsel in Pasadena, Calif., and 1952 graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, has committed to donating a $1 million gift to the Law School. The gift will be used to establish the Kommerstad Business Law and Entrepreneurship Center.
Kommerstad is director and founder of 1st Business Bank (now Mellon) in Los Angeles, and is currently chair of the National Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America.
