Catholic Healthcare West officials expect to sell $290 million of revenue bonds next week to finance hospital acquisitions and improvements in three western states.
The financing comes after system officials decided to speed up expansion plans. In fact, negotiations to acquire a hospital chain in Chandler, Ariz., closed quicker than expected, so officials for the second-largest health care group in the country decided to pool all their capital needs into one debt sale.
