COLUMBIA, S.C., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Governor Jim Hodges today announced plans for the inaugural South Carolina Heritage Tour, a six-day international cycling race set for April 18-23, 2000, which will highlight the South Carolina National Heritage Corridor.
Plans for South Carolina's first international cycling race since the 1996 Tour DuPont were unveiled at the State Capitol in Columbia with state and local leaders from throughout the Palmetto state.
