Forget what you think you know about computing-Sony is slowly changing the rules with its VAIO line. An acronym for Video Audio Integrated Operation, the VAIO series embodies Sony's "total media" integration concept. And the PCV-L620, the company's latest version of its Slimtop LCD PC, might well be the most intriguing manifestation of that notion to date.
The Slimtop starts out as a smallish quasi-desktop, quasi-tower system in a 3.6x11.2x13.4-inch (HWD) enclosure. Its orientation depends on whether you use the cradle to stand it upright or attach the rubber feet so it can lie flat on your desk.
