The Weg group of Brazil will implement a new management structure as of January, 2000. The group's subsidiaries will become 6 divisions of a single company called Weg Industrias, which will be controlled by the Weg holding - 11 foreign subsidiaries will also be controlled by the holding. Weg, based in Jaragua do Sul, State of Santa Catarina, reported net profit of R$50.3mil for the period between January and September, 1999, down from R$58.5mil posted in the same period of 1998.
