WASHINGTON, D.C., Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- National-Louis University's National College of Education has received the prestigious accreditation of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
National-Louis received the accreditation this month under the performance-oriented standards of NCATE, the organization responsible for professional accreditation of teacher education. National-Louis was one of 40 institutions that received either initial or continuing accreditation by NCATE's Unit Accreditation Board in its most recent rounds of decisions. Only one-third of all teacher-education institutions in the U.S. are NCATE-accredited.
