Nov. 9 -- Charleston has landed on a pair of Top 10 lists compiled by two travel industry publications.
The Holy City has earned the No. 3 ranking among the best U.S. cities in Conde Nast Traveler's 12th annual Readers Choice Awards, up a notch from its No. 4 position last year.
Meanwhile, Successful Meetings, a trade magazine that reaches 75,000 professional travel planners, is putting Charleston on its list of the top destinations for convention and other large-scale gatherings for 2000 and beyond.
