Money market fund managers are confronting a mixed bag this week -- there are few notes to choose from and prices on daily paper are reportedly climbing because of the need for liquidity. However, investors are finding their way back to municipal funds, brightening the demand-side picture, which had been looking pretty bleak.
As expected, the new note supply calendar has slowed down significantly. This week's largest competitive deal came out of Florida, where the Miami-Dade County School District sold more than $32 million in revenue anticipation notes.
