In the "Hamlet" at Folger Theatre, the Danish prince is more "Sybil" than swain - he's played by four actors, who frequently occupy the stage as different aspects of Hamlet's personality.
This very nontraditional version of William Shakespeare's tragedy has Hamlet so stressed by his father's death and mother's "o'er-hasty marriage" to his uncle that he splits, with each personality taking control at a given time.
