President Clinton's visit to Kosovo on Nov. 23 will be another stop on what some call his international legacy "tour."
Mr. Clinton, stymied in his domestic efforts on Social Security and Medicare, will visit Camp Bondsteel, a U.S. military base in Kosovo, at the end of a 10-day trip to Turkey, Greece, Italy and Bulgaria.
In Kosovo, two days before Thanksgiving, Mr. Clinton will commemorate NATO's 78-day air war to reverse "the kind of ethnic cleansing that has ripped part of Europe apart for much of this decade," White House spokesman Joe Lockhart said yesterday.
