ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION Agency issued additional regulations last week aimed at curbing one of the last remaining significant sources of water pollution in the US--storm water runoff.

The new Phase II storm water rule builds on the government's program for controlling storm water runoff from 11 industries and from municipalities that have populations of more than 100,000.
