What should the disability income insurance producer do when the client's application has been rejected?
A lot of people in the field have had to mull that question, especially in the past few years when DI underwriting has been more restrictive than in previous years. In some cases, producers wonder if they will still have a life, in the insurance business, if declinations occur too often.

Of course, underwriting DI applications has never been an "easy ride" in terms of getting the application through the processing cycle. And historically, DI insurance has always been more difficult to obtain than life insurance.
