RALEIGH-DURHAM, N.C., Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Midway Airlines Corporation (Nasdaq: MDWY) (www.MidwayAir.com ) today announced an October load factor of 66.8 percent, an increase of 1.1 percentage points from October 1998. This was the highest October load factor in the Company's history, and the 9th record load factor in the last 12 months. Available seat miles increased 3.4 percent to 142.2 million, while revenue passenger miles increased 5.1 percent to 95.0 million. The number of passengers carried increased 4.2 percent to 191 thousand.
