Quantum Dot Corporation (QDC) reported today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued pioneering U.S. Patent No. 5,990,479 to the Regents of the University of California for semiconductor nanoparticle (QDOT(TM)) conjugates and their uses in biological, biomedical and biochemical applications.
