Nov. 15 -- ARLINGTON -- ARLINGTON HONORS UTA FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES: The University of Texas at Arlington has been honored for its environmental awareness with a certificate of recognition from the city of Arlington's water resource services department.
This is the third consecutive year the university has received the award.
UTA was recognized for devoting "significant time, effort and diligence," in complying with Environmental Protection Agency pretreatment regulations and the city of Arlington's Industrial Pretreatment program, the university said.
