Better work on your English. That's right, English.
When KCSO Channel 34 station manager Rob Castro begins to hire newscasters, he'll look for people who speak Spanish, have good on-camera presence and can quickly develop credibility with the local Hispanic viewership.
But like the station's other employees, the broadcasters also must speak English, said Castro, who hopes to have newscasts airing by Jan. 1.
