Fitch IBCA, the international rating agency, has today affirmed its Long- and Short-term foreign currency ratings of 'BB' and 'B', respectively, for the Province of Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires's Long-term rating is constrained by Argentina's foreign currency rating.
These ratings apply to senior unsecured debt issues and reflect the Province's strong and diversified economic base and also its importance to the national economy, as it accounts for close to 35% of Argentina's gdp. However, the Long-term ...
