FORT WORTH, Texas, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The UPS Logistics Group, a global supply chain management company, will build a 320,000 square foot distribution and technology center at the Alliance development here. Groundbreaking is expected to begin within 30 days, with completion expected in mid-2000. Initially, about 100 people will be employed at the facility.
The multi-client facility, operated by the UPS Logistics Group's UPS Worldwide Logistics (WWL) unit, will include such services as: specialized warehousing, cross-docking, kitting and product configuration, specialized multi-modal transportation management, a multi-lingual call center and specialized ...
