PARIS, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Standard & Poor's today assigned its double-'A'-minus preliminary ratings to San Giorgio S.p.A.'s Euro (275) million asset-backed floating-rate notes.

The preliminary rating reflects i) the credit quality of the portfolio, attributable to the mechanism for repaying the securitized life-insurance-policy loans by set-offs against the underlying life-insurance policies that Alleanza Assicurazioni S.p.A.
