Bake VS. Buy?
No matter how you slice it, coffee and baked goods are an obvious match. It's a rare bird who doesn't appreciate coffee and a warm blueberry muffin in the morning.
But to bake or not to bake is a dilemma nearly every specialty coffee retailer faces. There are convincing arguments for either side, and plenty of plausible options in between. Retailers must consider time, cost, space, culinary talents and ambiance when choosing the best option for their business.
