WISDOM
Wisdom is what you are supposed to buy when you spend enough years to be old. Maybe so. I'm not old, but there is surely more time behind me than ahead and I'm still, on occasion, as dull as dirt.
The trip I made last fall to northern Missouri will do for an example. David Miller, maker of fine rifles, and I went to hunt the great whitetail bucks found in that country with an outfit called Worth County Whitetails.
Randall Strand, owner of the outfit, picked us up at the airport in Kansas City. We drove in darkness to his camp up on the Iowa border. There we found wall tents with wooden floors. Inside, sheet metal stoves were working on ...
