FOXBORO - The Patriots left Buffalo Sunday on the short end of a 17-7 score, but cornerback Steve Israel is convinced it didn't have to end that way.
In fact, the eighth-year pro out of Pittsburgh is confident that the slumping Pats can beat any team in the league. That includes the Bills, who come to town for a rematch the day after Christmas, as well as upcoming opponents Dallas (Sunday night) and Indianapolis (Dec. 12.).
"I truly believe we can beat Dallas, we can beat the Colts and we can beat the Bills," Israel said Monday. "I played in that game, I saw what happened and I know we can beat them.
