GRACANICA, Yugoslavia, Dec. 4 (UPI)
A U.S. police officer ended up in the hospital with broken ribs after an arrest at a local Kosovo bar Friday night.
The incident, in a heavily Serb-populated area near Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, is the second in a week in which United Nations police officers have been attacked.
In an incident Nov. 28, U.N. police were pushed off by a crowd of ethnic Albanians when they tried to come to the aid of an elderly Serb man and two female relatives. The man was shot and killed; the two women were beaten severely.
